Please Note: Our Spring 2004 Sale was a great success! We have left the information here from the sale so that new visitors can view what a Spring sale might offer. We typically change about about 70% of the plant material offered from year to year but keep some of the best sellers and basic plants and supplies for every sale.

The Middlesex Conservation District helps landowners and municipalities identify natural resource concerns and plan solutions. We were founded in 1947 as a not-for-profit division of state government dedicated to the conservation of soil and water in Middlesex County. We are guided by an elected volunteer Board of Supervisors and work in partnership with federal, state and local agencies and organizations.

Our spring and fall plant sales supply the funding to provide conservation technical assistance and offer environmental education programs. Many of the plants this season are attractive native and wetland species well adapted to the climate of this region. This means they are easier to grow and hardier than some specialty hybrids.

A big part of our sale is the volunteers who help us pack and pass out our orders. Join us for a day of plant discussions, camaraderie and volunteerism. You can pick up your order early and get some great deals on the overstock. Please indicate on your order form if you can help on packing or pickup days.

Our web site has general information about the District as well as more detailed information on the plants. Pictures of most items may help you choose which plants to add to your garden. Please share our site with a gardening friend!

We will once again hold our "Cash Sale" of excess, first quality stock during the pickup days. Annuals, extra herbs, and some perennials over wintered from last fall's sale will be available.
